SI 350: UX Field Research in the Public Sector
Graduate Student Instructor

This course is for undergraduates at the University of Michigan. Students learn and explore the application of user experience research methods to understand the citizen perspective of community issues. Students work with local government staff to conduct user experience research around civic information issues. Students learn through practice, facilitated by direct interaction with government staff and citizens.

This course is for undergraduates at the University of Michigan. Students learn methods and skills involved in designing and prototyping interactive systems. The course covers the design process from the initial formulation of a design problem to the creation of digital prototypes. The class structure is a mix of design activities, lectures, and design critiques of project work.
